Summary
Soboba Casino is currently hiring an Inventory Clerk to work in our food and beverage warehouse. The primary responsibilities of this role will be to manage the inventory control system, maintain product data, rectify miscalculations, review and analyze the results of inventory processes, report findings to management and make recommendations for improvement as necessary.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Review and apply inventory activities, including movements and deletions.
- Maintain and update inventory records.
- Work with the Warehouse Manager in implementing efficient inventory management procedures.
- Reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Report any stock issues to the Warehouse Manager.
- Reconcile variances of stored product.
- Must be physically present to work a regular, reliable, and predictable work schedule in accordance with business demands, and maintain a consistent and regular attendance record.
- Perform special projects and other responsibilities, tasks, or duties as requested.
Education / Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age, or older.
- Any combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. (or Preferred for some positions)
- Knowledge of RedRock procurement software a plus.
- Microsoft Office Products knowledge including Excel, Outlook. Using basic functions such as: Creating and updating spreadsheets, scheduling meetings in outlook, basic email communications.
- Must have minimum of three (3) years of Inventory warehouse experience.
- Knowledge of Red Rock Purchasing/Inventory software a plus, but not a requirement
- Must be available for all monthly inventories.
- Must be able to provide evidence of eligibility to work in the United States of America.
Certificates, licenses and registration
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Soboba Tribal Gaming Commission license.
- Required to submit to and obtain negative results on all drug and/or alcohol testing.
- Must be able to obtain Manual & Electric Pallet Jack training and Forklift Training within 30 days of hire.
