What are the responsibilities and job description for the Training Coordinator position at Soboba Casino?
Duties/Responsibilities
- Performs data entry duties in Casino Essentials - Learning Management System as required including; creating new hire accounts, updating transfers and promotions, disabling termed accounts, offsite and department specific data uploads, run weekly and department specific training status reports...etc.
- Keeps the ADP Casino Training Resources page current.
- Produce weekly reports for the following: Daily Floor Walk, Guest Pulse Surveys, Voice of the Employee, GuestNet issue summaries by department...etc.
- Analyze data collected from GuestNet & Guest Pulse surveys and produce summary reports for departments and to Training Team to create specific trainings based on data.
- Monitor and track emails and vmails from the guestservice@soboba.net address. Create monthly reports.
- Prepare and assist with the production of training material for instructor-led trainings and New Hire Orientations.
- Tracks Training supplies and works with HR Admin and/or Clerk for reordering as needed.
- Assist with preparation of the annual budget process to establish adequate resources for training programs and Guest Service needs.
- Track, log and distribute external training requests once approved.
- Assemble, print, post and distribute the Training & Development Bulletin.
- Coordinates the scheduling of both Training rooms for all SCR departments.
- Effectively communicate with all levels of management.
- Maintains excellent grooming and personal conduct according to Soboba Casino Standards.
- High degree of self-motivation, goal-orientation and commitment to quality guest service
- Perform special projects and other responsibilities, tasks, or duties as requested by the Training & Development Manager.
- Must be physically present to work a regular, reliable, and predictable work schedule in accordance with business demands, and maintain a consistent and regular attendance record.
- Must be 21 years of age, or older.
- High School diploma or equivalent, required.
- Completion of college courses, preferred.
- Two (2) years of administrative experience, preferably in Human Resources, required.
- Adequate knowledge of learning management systems and web delivery tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in order to promote a positive and professional image.
- Intermediate to advance computer literacy skills, required.
- Working knowledge of and expertise in the operation of general office equipment including personal computer and computer software programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher and Outlook, required
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Advanced reading-comprehension skills required.
- Ability to accurately complete tasks within established timelines.
- Ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to follow up and follow through on assigned projects.
- Training and guest service experience working in retail, entertainment, and/or hospitality a plus.
- Must be able to provide evidence of eligibility to work in the United States of America.
Certificates, licenses and registration
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Soboba Tribal Gaming Commission license.
- Required to submit to and obtain negative results on all drug and/or alcohol testing.
