SUMMARY
Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of their assigned facility, including buildings, restrooms, kitchens and offices. Overall duties include maintaining grounds and buildings in accordance with pre-planned schedules. May assist with special projects and events. Must be reliable and in good attendance.
DUTIES AND RESPONISBILITIES
Although other duties may be assigned, the essential duties include the following:
- Keep assigned facility clean and pick up trash.
- Do minor repairs and painting as directed.
- Maintain a cleaning schedule as determined by supervisor.
- Assist in the upkeep of the grounds.
- Basic skills in maintenance, landscaping and janitorial duties.
- Complete all duties as assigned on a weekly schedule.
- Provide customer service.
- Deal with difficult situations with maturity and maintain professional demeanor at all times.
- Other duties may be assigned.
EDUCATION
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
EXPERIENCE
- 1-2 years’ experience in general facilities maintenance.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. routinely
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
- Ability to work weekends and any shift
- Well-groomed appearance
- Ability to take delegation of work assignments.
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions
- Provide superior customer service skills.
REQUIRED
- A current California Driver's License
