Acai Cafe Team Member Part-Time
SoBol is a café primarily serving acai bowls and fruit smoothies. We provide invigorating meals to local communities with our famous acai bowls, green bowls and pitaya bowls. SoBol is currently seeking front-of- house employees to join our rapidly growing team. At SoBol, front-of- house team members are experts in multiple areas of the café. You will learn how to properly perform every task necessary to work at a SoBol. This includes creating acai bowls, cutting specialty fruits, working the cash register, blending smoothies, cleaning and prepping.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Makes acai bowls
- Blends smoothies
- Ensures the neatness, cleanliness and orderliness of the facility by sweeping, mopping, stocking shelves, removing trash, etc.
- Presents a clean-cut, neat and professional image.
- Exhibits and encourages proper hygiene and sanitary habits.
- Maintains a friendly, courteous and cheerful demeanor.
- Embody the brand and culture of SoBol
Qualifications
- Restaurant kitchen experience preferred.
- Willingness to be a team player and a hard worker.
- Must be friendly and outgoing.
- Able to communicate clearly with customers and other employees.
- Able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 20 pounds.
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
Please note this job does not involve any cooking.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Hours: Between 5-15 hours per week. Must have weekday, daytime availability even after the school year starts.
