Field Security Technician (FST) (S)
Responsibilities:
- Installs, maintains, repairs, and accounts for all technical/communication security equipment (e.g., closed circuit television cameras (CCTV), alarm systems, imminent danger notification systems, intrusion systems, access control systems, etc.).
- Establishes and implements maintenance plans and inventory/accountability systems.
- Assists with radio communication encryption.
- Assists with the installation, maintenance, and repair of Blue Force Tracker.
- Enforces communications SOPS and maintenance and accountability plans.
Qualifications:
- Must be a US citizen
- US Passport and US Driver's License required
- Must possess a minimum of five (5) years of experience in installation, maintenance, and repair of communications/electronics security equipment.
- Must possess a minimum of one (1) year of overseas of experience performing as a technical/communication security equipment technician.
- Must be a certified electronics technician, either military or civilian.
- Military discharge must be Honorable
- Must be able to get and maintain a Secret Clearance.
