Responsibilities
- Responsible for in-process and final inspection of client's products
- Perform visual inspections of electrical components and assemblies using magnifiers, microscopes, and other non-complex tools
- Able to follow and comply with documents such as work instructions, safety rules and departmental instructions
- Review of documentation (route sheets, test sheets, and logbooks, etc.)
- Performs accurate data and record keeping
- Communicate findings through NCMR process for immediate action
- Support Lean manufacturing efforts through continuous process improvement
- Perform basic computer activities
- Perform internal Calibration, Chemical, Work Instruction and Process audits
- Participate in meetings and working groups to solve problems, communicate issues, obtain approvals, and maintain specific level of knowledge pertaining to new requirements or policies
Qualifications:
- 4 years related experience or 2 years post- Secondary/Associates Degree with 0-2 years prior related experience.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills combined with meticulous recordkeeping practices
- Ability to work with multiple disciplines from Operations, Engineering and Management
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards and practices
- An understanding of electronic, optical, and mechanical assemblies
- Computer skills
- Must be able to perform light physical activities such as lifting and unpacking boxes, turning dials and knobs, opening and closing latches and covers
