Instructional Designer needed for a contract opportunity with SOC’s client to work onsite in Rochester, NY!
Contract Length : 12 Months, possible conversion to FTE
Job Description :
Our clients Communications division is looking for a technically minded, detail-oriented, and improvement-focused Instructional Designer to join our Technical Publications and Multimedia Training Development teams. The Instructional Designer will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to analyze, design, and develop content for internal and external technical training programs. Experienced Instructional Designers who are passionate about people, technology, and collaboration are highly encouraged to apply!
Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams of engineers, factory employees, multimedia, trainers, subject matter experts, and other departments to create training content to meet customer needs
- Design learning experiences with multiple delivery modes (such as in-person classroom environments, virtual classrooms, and eLearning)
- Write instructional text and instructor notes
- Develop training courseware, performance support tools, and technical job aides
- Analyze and incorporate feedback from customers and internal teams to continuously improve trainings
- Participate in multiple projects simultaneously
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, such as ITAR, EAR, and CUI, when applicable
- Stay current with the latest trends and technologies in Instructional Design and Learning and Development
