OpsRamp Implementation Technical Consultant needed for a contract to hire opportunity with SOC's client to work onsite in Merrifield, VA.
*Candidates must have ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance to be considered for this role.
The OpsRamp Implementation Technical Consultant will be responsible for the deployment, integration, documentation, and maintenance of OpsRamp into the customer environment partnering with other professional services engineers. The work will involve producing a low-level design for the production environment in the clients environment as well as the roll out to numerous sites.
Required Qualifications:
* Experience in deploying and configuring OpsRamp or other IT Operations Management platforms.
* Good VMware vSphere Administration experience, understanding of ESX, vCenter services, vDS, VMs and appliances.
* Versed with monitoring and alerting systems including SNMP v1,v3 MIBS.
* Experienced with variety of compute / storage and network devices in infrastructure, out of band management interfaces, Management UI and command line config / troubleshooting.
* Should have good troubleshooting and documentation skills required with experience in writing Runbooks / process guides docs.
* Able to handle automation scripts to execute and tweak when required. In Shell / Python / PowerShell.
* Ability to travel to client sites.
