What are the responsibilities and job description for the Adolescent Mental Health Therapist – Full time position at SoCal Adolescent Wellness?
We invite you to become a member of our mental health adolescent treatment team! Our therapists are supportive, knowledgeable, and passionate about assisting adolescents in their journey to adulthood. SoCal Adolescent Wellness is seeking a Primary Mental Health Therapist to join our growing premier adolescent mental health treatment program. Our dedicated team of experienced therapists are trained in and have experience utilizing evidence-based therapies. SoCal Adolescent therapists benefit from being members of the treatment team and being able to consult with peers and supervisors on a daily basis.
We are a Joint Commission Accredited program, and our curriculum has been specially developed. Our client caseloads are designed to be small in order to provide comprehensive care. Therapists, who are part of a multi-disciplinary treatment team, provide intake assessments, and develop treatment and discharge plans. Our therapists provide individual and family therapy sessions, case management and small group facilitation. All of our clients are evaluated and followed by a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist.
This position requires licensure as a Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT), Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW), Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Experience working with adolescents with emotional, behavioral and/or mental health issues is required.
