Title: Internal Service Advisor
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Internal Service Advisor to join our team at our reputable car dealership. As an Internal Service Advisor, you will be responsible for coordinating the repair and maintenance of vehicles brought in by customers to the dealership's service department.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a liaison between the sales department and service department, ensuring that service work or repairs are performed and vehicles are prepared for presentation to customers and sale in a timely manner.
- Promote the sale of labor, parts, and accessories by providing clear explanations of estimates and services to customers.
- Follow the progress of service repairs and provide timely updates to sales managers and customers.
- Prepare accurate Repair Orders and review them with management to secure approval, ensuring that all necessary repairs and services are included in the estimate.
- Maintain detailed records of service and repair work performed on each vehicle, including parts used, labor hours, and costs.
- Communicate with the dealership's parts department to order necessary parts and ensure they are available when needed.
Requirements:
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Comfortable working with computer systems and automotive service software.
- Knowledgeable about automotive repair and maintenance.
