Early Childhood Youth Soccer Instructor

Through Soccer Shots, we have impacted thousands of children in and around our communities. We attribute much of our success to the dedicated, fun, and a little bit crazy Soccer Shots team we have put together. We are passionate about what we do and are looking to add part-time soccer coaches to our team who feel the same people who are fired up about the idea of impacting the next generation through the game of soccer!
Soccer Shots coaches are :
S afety-conscious, whose #1 priority is the safety of children under their care.
C aring, engaging with each child through specific and positive affirmation.
O rganized, who plan-ahead and are systematic in routine, conducting each session according to the
lesson plan and working with children to maintain appropriate order for the age group.
R esponsible, who are committed to doing what is expected of them as the coach and "face" of
Soccer Shots.
E nergetic, bringing Soccer Shots to life by creating a fun and exciting atmosphere that leads a child
to smile and participate.
Part-time coaches can coach anywhere from 5-20 sessions per week depending on experience and availability. Coaches must give an 8-12-week commitment for the season, with a strong preference for Saturday morning availability. The classes are held during the morning (8 AM-12 PM), early afternoon (1-5 PM), and evening (5pm -7 : 30pm) during the week and on Saturday mornings (8 : 45 AM-12 PM). Each class is 30, 35, or 45 minutes long depending on the age.
We provide all necessary training, equipment, and curriculum materials. The compensation starts at $20 for each soccer session you run. At some sites, there will be multiple soccer classes, meaning you could run 2 or even 3 sessions in a row. Obviously, this would double or triple your pay.
In addition to the above, a successful candidate must pass an Ohio Child Abuse History Clearance, FBI fingerprint check, and Background Check. Having these clearances current can expedite the hiring process!
