Soccer Shots is a program that introduces soccer to children ages 2-9. We are looking for assistant coaches at various park districts in Southwest Chicagoland and at our soccer league in Lockport, IL. An assistant coach will have the opportunity to train as a head coach when they are ready to lead on their own.

Role

The role of an assistant coach is to assist the head coach in fun soccer games by interacting with children and assisting with skill development. An assistant coach must:

• Enjoy working with children
• Be comfortable talking to and working in front of parents.
• Always on time, neat in appearance, prepared for every class, and remarkable when working with children.
• High-energy and enthusiastic.
• At least 16 years old with reliable transportation.
  
  

An assistant coach is paid $15 per hour with multiple classes at one location. When ready, an assistant coach will be eligible for a head coach position at $20 per hour if interested. Soccer Shots runs classes Mondays through Saturdays at a variety of locations in the Southwest Chicagoland area.
