Position Overview :
The Coaching Coordinator in Memphis is responsible for assisting with all Soccer Shots programs. This is done by supporting the recruitment and development of coaching staff, assisting with Partner Services to grow and maintain program locations, and assisting marketing efforts to promote our program. This role combines on-field coaching with operational, administrative, and partner relationship duties to ensure the success of Soccer Shots programs.

Coaching Responsibilities :
Coach 10–12 location blocks per week (20-30 classes) delivering high-energy, engaging soccer sessions aligned with Soccer Shots’ curriculum.Build positive relationships with children (ages 2–10), families, and partner staff.Adapt our coaching methods for different age groups and abilities. Serve as a role model by demonstrating Soccer Shots’ core values on and off the field.Recruitment & Hiring Support :
Assist with recruiting qualified coaches to meet seasonal staffing goals. Support the full hiring process : screening applications, conducting interviews, onboarding and training.Attend job fairs and local recruitment events to attract coaching talent.Create new ways to recruit new coaches.Coach Support & Development :
Provide consistent support to coaches through mentorship, evaluations, and feedback.Assist in scheduling, managing, and assigning coaching schedules.Assist with management of coaching phone line.Conduct Coaching 1-1s to ensure quality of our coaching team.Help transition new coaches to their assigned locations with introductions and on-site support.Partner Services & Marketing
Assist with identifying and securing new partner locations by selling in person.Maintain positive relationships with current partners to ensure satisfaction by checking in.Distribute marketing materials like location flyers, community postcards and yard signs,Create and publish social media content for all social media channelsOperational & Administrative Support :
Maintain accurate coaching records and hiring documentation.Assist with marketing efforts and setup of promotional events.Provide assistance with each department as per needed.Qualifications :
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.Passion for sports and working with children and fostering youth development.Highly organized and detail-oriented with multitasking abilities.Ability to work independently and collaboratively.Comfortable traveling throughout the Memphis area.Previous coaching, sales, marketing or partnership development experience is preferred.Strong work ethic (scrappy)Compensation & Benefits :
Salary : $36,000 annually.10 Paid Time Off (PTO) days (eligible after 90 days).Monthly gas stipend of $150 monthlyPaid company holidays.Health insurance (50% of premium covered after 90 days).
