Job Title: Behavior Technician/ Registered Behavior Technician
About Us: Social Behavior Learning Solutions specializes in Center-Based Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy services, dedicated to helping children aged 1-12 years reach their full potential. We are currently seeking passionate and dedicated Behavior Technicians to join our dynamic team in Livingston, NJ.
Position Details:
- We are urgently hiring !!
- Work Schedule:
- FULL TIME : Monday to Friday, 8:15-4:45pm (if you are not availability during the time stated we encourage you to apply at a later date).
Key Responsibilities:
As an integral part of our team, you will be responsible for:
- Consistency and Reliability: Maintain dependable and consistent performance.
- Behavioral Expertise: Demonstrate proficiency in Behavioral Redirection techniques.
- Data Tracking: Observe and record children's behaviors using electronic data input (Central Reach).
- Progress Recognition: Identify and respond to improvements in a child's behavior.
- Detail-Oriented: Exhibit strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Communication: Effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Behavioral Intervention: Implement 1:1 Behavioral intervention programs for children with Autism.
- Professional Development: Participate in monthly Professional Development trainings.
- Social Skill Development: Nurture and encourage social skills.
- Confidentiality: Commit to maintaining client confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA laws.
- Safety: Ensure a clean, safe, and organized environment.
- Feedback: Be open to and accept constructive feedback.
Physical Requirements:
- Lifting: Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Posture: Able to assume various postures promptly (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, and standing) as required.
- Quick Movements: Willing and able to assist, transport, and execute swift body movements as indicated in the Behavior Intervention Plan when working with children displaying challenging behaviors.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or related field preferred.
