Duties
- Prepare and mix ingredients according to established recipes to create a variety of ice cream flavors.
- Operate ice cream machines and other food production equipment safely and efficiently.
- Monitor the production process to ensure consistency in texture and flavor.
- Package finished products for sale, ensuring proper labeling and adherence to food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness in the work area, adhering to all food safety regulations.
- Assist with cake decorating as needed, incorporating ice cream into dessert presentations.
- Collaborate with owner to develop new flavors and improve existing recipes.
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation or culinary roles is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food safety practices within the food industry is essential.
- Familiarity with baking techniques and cake decorating is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately.
