Duties:
As an Ice Cream Server/Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring efficient operations in a fast-paced ice cream shop environment.
- Greet customers, take orders, and serve ice cream promptly
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems: Square POS
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas and kitchen
- Learn to bake cookies each morning for preparation
- Learn to make waffle cones for each day
Skills:
To excel in this role, the following skills are essential:
- Experience in the food industry with knowledge of food service procedures
- Proficiency in basic math for cash handling and transactions
- Strong sales skills to upsell menu items and promote specials
- Familiarity with Square POS or similar point-of-sale systems
- Quick learner
- Adherence to food safety standards and regulations
