Food Runner/Busser

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our dynamic team. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and with exceptional service. This position requires strong communication skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. As a Food Runner, you will be the vital link between the kitchen and the dining area, ensuring that every guest has an outstanding dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner while ensuring accuracy.
• Assist in setting up and clearing tables to maintain a clean and inviting dining environment.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure all orders are prepared correctly and promptly.
• Provide excellent guest services by addressing any questions or concerns regarding menu items.
• Support bussing duties by helping to clear dishes and reset tables as needed.
• Adhere to food safety standards and hygiene practices at all times.
• Collaborate with culinary staff to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.

Experience

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Knowledge of food safety practices is essential.
• A passion for culinary arts and willingness to learn about menu items is highly valued.
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
