Job Description

As a Content Producer you will be primarily focused on the creation, management, and collaborative production of engaging digital content including social first short form video and still assets for our clients’ marketing needs. The Content Producer will collaborate with and assist our Paid Media and Creative teams with the ideation, production, execution, and organization of creative assets and deliverables. Regular responsibilities include executing and / or producing / managing photo & video shoots, and managing UGC content creators and influencers alongside the Content Manager depending on the client’s needs. Internally the Content Producer will collaborate with Account Managers to address and meet client needs, communicate and manage post production needs, and align on timing, budget, and business goals. The ideal candidate is fluent in social media and a dynamic multitasker that works well in a fast-paced environment, has a keen eye for detail and aesthetics, and can be client facing to maintain and grow client relationships while delivering high quality content from conception to production. A background in beauty and ethnic haircare is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Content Creation : Develop and produce social first content such as short form videos, digital ads, graphic assets and still photography.

Manage and oversee pre-production along with the greater team including :

  • Visual, technical, trend research
  • Visual Treatments
  • Messaging Calendars
  • Creative Briefs
  • Location scouting as needed
  • Model hiring and organization as needed
  • Prop planning and purchasing as needed
  • Coordinate and organize monthly content photo / video shoots. Out-source and direct vendors to produce photo & video shoots when needed. Manage the delivery of assets for monthly content calendars & toolkits to internal teams (account managers will deliver to clients). Contribute to our go-to network of UGC, content creators, and production vendors.

  • Editing & Post-Production : Responsible for editing and refining content to ensure it meets quality standards as well as repurposing brand provided content via copywriting overlays, graphic design, and video editing / animation when necessary.
  • Content Strategy : Work with the strategy and creative teams to develop content strategies, proposals, decks / calendars, creative briefs and shotlists for vendors, and ensure all content remains consistent with client goals, needs, expectations, creative vision, and budget.
  • Platform Optimization : Ensure content is optimized for various platforms (e.g., Instagram, YouTube, blogs, websites, etc.), adhering to platform-specific best practices and file organization.
  • Performance Analysis : Collaborate with paid media and strategy teams to understand content performance (engagement, reach, etc.) and refine content production based on analytics to optimize results.
  • Project Management : Manage the scheduling and execution of content production and any outsourced talent to ensure budgets are kept and deadlines are met. Work directly with the the Account Managers to define the monthly shoot schedule, in line with on-going content calendars for various brands.
  • Provide estimates and maintain budgets for all projects and clients.
  • Strictly adhere to deadlines for delivery of all original content.
  • Skills and Expertise

  • Minimum of 5 years overall working experience in social media and / or digital marketing for brands – understanding of paid content is a plus.
  • Strong writing, editing, and video production skills.
  • Proficiency with content creation tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, CapCut etc., Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva).
  • Focus on consistency, deadlines, and delivering content that is high quality, aesthetically elevated, and engages the target audience.
  • Must love coming up with new ideas both creatively and strategically, be highly organized, a creative problem solver, and have an impeccable eye for detail.
  • On the pulse of social media and content creation trends and audience behavior.
  • Experience styling and conceiving social first visual storylines for clients in fashion, beauty, and tech industries.
  • Experience shooting and lighting for motion and still photography both in studio and on-location.
  • The ability to manage, communicate with, and direct video editors & motion graphic animators as needed.
  • Ability to work well under strict deadlines while juggling multiple projects.
  • Able to communicate professionally in both a verbal and written format.
  • Able to independently manage multiple deliverables simultaneously.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Google Suite, Asana, Slack, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Suite, Zoom.
