We are seeking a highly experienced and driven Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join our team! The COO will oversee and optimize the company’s operational framework, focusing on Manufacturing, Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC), Distribution, Logistics, Inventory Management, RMA, Compliance, Production Management, Services Management, and Support. Reporting directly to the CEO, the COO will be responsible for driving operational efficiency, global quality standards adherence, and sustainable growth. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing complex operations, scaling high-growth organizations, and maintaining compliance with ISO and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership
- Develop and execute scalable operational strategies across all business functions.
- Manufacturing Excellence
- Establish a clean manufacturing process encompassing procurement, production, and quality.
- Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC)
- Establish and maintain robust QA/QC frameworks to ensure product and operational quality
- ISO Compliance and Regulatory Protocols
- Maintain ISO certifications and ensure adherence to global regulatory standards.
- Distribution and Logistics
- Design efficient global distribution and logistics networks.
- Inventory Management and RMA
- Implement systems for optimal inventory management, ordering, and effective RMA process.
- Production Management
- Oversee manufacturing operations for efficiency and quality across global locations.
- Services Management and Support
- Deliver exceptional customer support and service management.
- Process Optimization and Scalability
- Drive continuous improvement and process scalability across all functions.
- Leadership and Talent Development
- Build, mentor, and manage high-performing teams across all operational functions.
- Scale operational processes in a high-growth, startup environment.
- Employees will be required to adhere to Social Mobile’s information security policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's in business administration or related field.
- Industry Security Certifications CISSP or CISM.
- 10 years in a senior operational leadership role, with extensive experience across QA, QC, distribution, logistics, RMA, compliance, systems, IT, security, inventory management, and production management in high-growth environments.
- Deep knowledge of global supply chain management and ISO 9001 certification standards.
- 15 years of experience in a SaaS startup or company generating $100M annual revenue.
- 15 years of experience working with global teams.
- Ability to travel internationally.
- Experience scaling operations in startups or dynamic, fast-paced organizations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Business Central Dynamics 365 ERP.
- Data-driven approach with expertise in quality management systems (QMS).
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills with a focus on data-driven results.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and team-building abilities.
- History of aligning technology with business strategy.
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments and manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Understanding of Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM/MDM) is plus.
