Role Summary
The Content Strategist at Social Practice plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing content marketing strategies that drive brand awareness and client success. This individual thrives on developing strategic social media campaigns and crafting engaging content while staying ahead of the latest trends on social media and in the medical aesthetics industry. A core aspect of the Content Strategist role is to maintain proactive and effective communication with the Client Experience Manager to ensure content aligns with client goals, achieves cohesiveness, and matches the desired tone. Strategists are responsible for producing brand-forward, compelling content that fulfills the client’s vision for their social media presence, without direct client communication unless absolutely necessary.
By translating client goals into actionable strategies, the Content Strategist ensures that all content aligns with the client’s brand objectives and resonates with their target audience. They lead internal brainstorming sessions, participate in strategy meetings, and handle content creation from start to finish. Their responsibilities also include monitoring social media channels, responding to inquiries, and collaborating with the client experience team to deliver cohesive and effective campaigns.
The Content Strategist embodies Social Practice’s core values—leadership, excellence, effective communication, accountability, and overall wellness—by taking initiative in developing creative solutions, producing high-quality content, maintaining clear interactions with internal teams and clients (when necessary), managing deadlines diligently, and balancing a demanding workload with a positive attitude. Their role is essential in ensuring client satisfaction and contributing to the growth and success of Social Practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Process Management: Own the entire monthly content process from start to finish, including strategy development, content creation, client approval, and execution.
- Campaign Leadership: Lead internal brainstorming sessions to develop new social media topic ideas and optimize content based on client goals and current trends.
- Creative Execution: Develop content calendars that reflect the client’s vision and oversee the production of all content deliverables, including graphics, photos, and videos. Provide creative feedback to freelance designers and videographers to ensure content aligns with brand objectives.
- Content Creation: Write, edit, and publish engaging content for various social networks (e.g., Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, Instagram) that aligns with the client’s tone and business objectives.
- Content Optimization & Research: Optimize social media posts based on audience behavior and research industry-related topics to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Proofing & Approval: Prepare well-structured drafts and ensure content is free of grammatical and spelling errors before submission to the client experience team.
- Scheduling & Posting: Ensure all social media content is scheduled and posted promptly and accurately using tools such as Sprout Social or manually, as required. Adhere to the designated posting schedule, double-checking for precision in captions, hashtags, and tagging to maintain the highest standards of quality and consistency. Proactively address any scheduling conflicts or platform-specific issues to ensure content goes live as planned.
- Deadline Management: Content Strategists are responsible for inputting all deadlines, including those for social media posts and any other assigned tasks, into Monday.com. It is their responsibility to ensure all deadlines are met on time. This includes adhering to the planned schedule in the client content calendar and any other project timelines. Proactive monitoring, clear communication, and effective time management are essential to maintaining consistency and meeting expectations.
- Social Media Interaction: Monitor and respond to all direct messages (DMs) and comments on client social profiles with professionalism and a positive attitude. Address any questions or concerns promptly. Direct leads and inquiries to the client for quick conversion.
- Team Collaboration: Utilize work management tools (e.g., monday.com) to provide updates via Slack and participate in Daily Huddle meetings. Offer guidance, support, and grace to fellow team members, putting team accomplishments first over individual goals. Work to identify solutions in all aspects of team relationships.
- Social Practice Brand Management: Collaborate with the content strategy team to execute and manage Social Practice’s social media channels and marketing efforts, under the direction of the CEO/Founder.
