What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Temporary Front Office Assistant Mental Health Agency position at Social Work Counseling Services, PLLC?
We are a private mental health counseling center located in Astoria, Queens, dedicated to providing psychotherapy services to the community and beyond.
We have a part-time temporary opening for a front desk assistant. It is expected that the office assistant will collaborate with the office manager and office administrator. Current schedule is Monday 9am-4pm, Friday 9am-7pm and Sunday 10-4pm for a total of 23 hours per week. These are the set hours and are not flexible.
Start date is March 24, 2025 through May 1, 2025 for a total of 5 weeks.
Job responsibilities include phone work, contact with insurance companies, appointment scheduling, managing therapist's schedules and maintaining the office environment. The job requires flexibility and ability to multitask. Sensitivity to the confidential nature of our agency's business is also required.
Candidate should possess some experience working in an office environment, as well as basic computer skills. Training will be provided. Spanish speaking preferred but not required.
