IDD Waivers Program Specialist needed for full time position in Delaware County.
Ensures that individuals receiving County 2176 waiver funding meet eligibility requirements, enroll in the waiver when capacity allows, and maintain eligibility. Acting as the liaison with the County Assistance Office, this role addresses waiver-related issues and Medical Assistance eligibility. Responsibilities include collaborating with SCOs on eligibility matters and utilizing systems like HCSIS, DocSTAR, and POSNET. The specialist must develop expertise in waiver procedures, provide training on waiver issues, and work effectively with county staff, providers, consumers, families, and state agencies.
