Description
Clinical Supervisor needed for part-time, temp to perm position beginning ASAP in Maryland.
The clinical supervisor is responsible for providing and ensuring the proper training and supervision of all licensed therapists and interns.
- To provide documented individual and group supervision to licensed clinicians and student interns;
- To track, review and sign all Treatment Plans and ensure that appropriate signatures are obtained, and ITP is formulated per standards;
- To assist with conducting therapist orientations, along with Clinical Team & Clinic Director;
- To assist with interviewing and evaluating therapists assigned to work with consumers, along with the Clinic Director;
- To conduct caseload reviews of medical records per program policy;
- To monitor caseloads and productivity of team;
- To identify the training needs of therapists and ensure that they receive documented training;
- To assist with case assignments / re-assignments, as needed;
- To respond to clinical emergencies and assist therapists with crisis management;
- To review discharge summaries, transition summaries, and incident reports;
- To ensure therapists comply with program policies and procedures.
- To conduct emergency assessments, as required;
- To participate in supervision with direct supervisor, as scheduled;
- To be available at least one evening per week to perform essential job functions;
- To attend, chair, and rotate preparing meeting minutes for programmatic meetings;
- To attend training, job fairs, and other mandatory meetings, as scheduled;
- To perform outreach to consumers regarding service engagement and grievances, and to answer questions;
- To contact and coordinate with community stakeholders, as needed;
- To provide updates for CEM meetings and conduct outreach, if necessary;
- To request, participate in and facilitate case consultations, as needed;
- To respond to subpoenas and support therapists needing to appear in court, and representing the agency, when necessary;
- To conduct office-based diagnostic assessments for clients in crisis, as needed;
- To compile weekly statistics for immediate supervisor within established time frames.
Position Requirements
Must be a master's level or above clinically licensed clinician, with supervisory approval in Maryland, and have extensive knowledge of the DSM and providing clinical supervision.
