Pediatric Clinical Social Worker needed for full-time, temporary (12 week) position in Philadelphia.
The Clinical Social Worker assesses and treats the psychological needs of patients referred by healthcare staff and supports their families. This role involves age-appropriate assessments, individual and family counseling, and consultation on emotional, behavioral, and pain management strategies during inpatient and outpatient care. The social worker participates in medical rounds, team meetings, and treatment planning while providing referrals for further psychological or psychiatric evaluations when necessary. Additional responsibilities include supervising trainees, educating patients, families, and staff on psychosocial issues, and serving as a liaison between departments.
Position Requirements
PA LCSW and at least two years of clinical experience.
