Description
Needed for full-time, temporary (6 months) position in Queens. In-person, working with survivors of gender-based violence.
This advocate maintains a caseload of 5-9 clients within the Residential Programs, providing supportive counseling, case management and advocacy support to adult survivors of gender-based violence. Facilitation of groups and accompaniment services for residents' legal, immigration, entitlement and housing needs. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 9am-5pm or 10am-6pm.
Potential to become permanent.
Position Requirements
Requires BSW or MSW.
