What are the responsibilities and job description for the Freelance Senior Designer position at SOCIALFLY?
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
The Freelance Sr. Designer works closely with the members of the Creative and Strategy Teams. The primary focus will be creating content for social media and social media advertising, contributing to brainstorms, and helping achieve client objectives with great creative work.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Creative Execution
- Develop and create work of the highest caliber to achieve Client objectives
- Design per creative briefs
- Assist current art directors with graphic design for social media posts
- Contribute to concepting/brainstorms for your clients that capitalize on social media platform updates and pop culture trends
- Develop original concepts designed to meet clients’ strategic objectives & brand standards
- Stay up-to-date on existing social channels and digital marketing to discover and pitch opportunities for new content concepts for existing clients
- Be responsible for all phases of creative work from concept through production
- Understand performance driven creative
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3-4 years social media/digital creative experience
- MUST be a strong, self-starter adept at independent problem-solving
- MUST have a can-do and positive attitude
- Experience using social media creatively
- The ability to work quickly, efficiently, and accurately within Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends in design for FB/IG/Twitter/LinkedIn/Pinterest, etc.
- Strong understanding of production and performance driven creative
- Detail oriented have a strong ability to prioritize work and resources
- Have excellent presentation and communication abilities
- Strong desire to deliver the best results possible for clients
- Proactive problem solver
- Adaptive and able to remain calm under pressure
- Experience working with presentation software such as Google Slides, Keynote and PowerPoint
- Photography/Videography experience
- Video editing skills
COMPENSATION
The hourly rate for this position is $55 per hour.
