Position Overview
We’re looking for a Part-Time Social Media Coordinator to join our growing team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment and wants to work closely with lifestyle, hospitality, and beauty brands. You’ll take ownership of assigned client accounts, lead content creation, manage scheduling, and help bring bold digital campaigns to life.
What You’ll Be Doing
Strategy & Planning
- Develop and execute social strategies that align with each client’s brand and audience
- Stay on top of social trends, platform updates, and competitor insights
- Set measurable goals and help evaluate content performance
Content Creation & Scheduling
- Create visually engaging content (photo, video, Reels, Stories, graphics) for Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook
- Plan and maintain a weekly content calendar
- Coordinate and attend client photoshoots (with a shot list based on brand goals)
- Schedule content via Sprout Social (or similar tool)
Community Engagement
- Monitor and respond to DMs, comments, and tags daily
- Repost relevant content and engage with target communities on behalf of the brand
- Support influencer outreach and activation when applicable
- Join weekly check-ins with each client to align on content, performance, and growth
Reporting & Analytics
- Track and analyze social performance metrics
- Deliver monthly recaps and campaign reports with actionable insights
- Offer strategic recommendations based on analytics and platform trends
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in social media coordination, preferably agency-side
- Strong writing, visual, and communication skills
- Proficiency in tools like Canva, CapCut, Later, or Sprout Social
- Ability to work independently and meet fast-moving deadlines
- Confidence in client-facing roles and creative direction
- Must be available for in-person office hours two or three days per week in Downtown Chicago
