Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Global Supply Chain Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing the entire supply chain process, from initial client consultation to final delivery. This includes coordinating with our production team to ensure timely and accurate shipments, managing delivery exceptions, and providing exceptional customer service to clients and recipients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supply Chain Management: Oversee the entire supply chain process, including initial client consultation, production, shipping, and delivery, ensuring seamless execution and timely completion.
- Delivery Exception Management: Proactively address and manage delivery exceptions, communicating with carriers to provide necessary information for customs clearance and expediting deliveries.
- Client and Recipient Communication: Engage directly with clients and recipients to inform them of shipping details and their responsibilities for receiving deliveries, providing exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving concerns related to shipments.
- Customs and Compliance: Prepare and submit required documentation to customs agencies and carriers, staying updated on international shipping regulations to ensure compliance and smooth customs clearance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree: Required
- Experience: 2 years in logistics, shipping coordination, or a related role; experience with international shipping and customs procedures is highly preferred.
- Proficiency: Proficient in shipping software and carrier estimating tools, as well as PC, Excel, Microsoft Office 365 Suite.
- Skills: Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail, excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, ability to multitask and manage multiple shipments simultaneously, problem-solving mindset with the ability to proactively address and resolve issues, customer-focused with a commitment to providing exceptional service, and collaborative team player who can work effectively across departments.
