Graphic Designer for Exhibits (on-site)We are not just any design firm. HealyKohler Design is a creative, energetic, enthusiastic, and diverse studio located in Washington, DC. We design exhibits, museums, and visitor experiences. We are looking for a highly motivated graphic designer to join our expanding team, in person (not remote).Responsibilities :
- Plan and develop exhibit and interpretive graphic programs, donor recognition, and environmental graphics.
- Translate client needs into effective design solutions.
- Design throughout multiple phases of development and create production files for printing graphic programs.Qualifications :
- Proficiency in Adobe CS Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator,InDesign), Word & Excel
- Typography and usage are essential
- Outstanding design sense with the ability to integrate messaging, color, and imagery
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and juggle multiple projects
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and quality are required
- Prior experience with exhibit graphicsEducation :
