What are the responsibilities and job description for the Society for Technical Communication is hiring: Technical Writer in Colusa position at Society for Technical Communication?
This position is responsible for creating, editing, and managing comprehensive documentation that serves as an essential resource throughout project development and implementation lifecycles, including but not limited to : client project proposals, Request for Proposal (RFP) responses, operations and maintenance manuals, and technical training material. May also assist with developing a variety of documents including process and policy documentation, creating templates for internal company use, forms for customer use, release notes, online help, and similar documents. This role requires a strong understanding of technical concepts, ability to analyze and organize information into clear, user-friendly documentation, excellent writing skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Education : Bachelor’s Degree in English, Technical Communications, Technical Writing, Communications, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience :
- Minimum two (2) years of technical writing experience is required.
- Experience in the energy industry or similar field is preferred.
