Job Summary : My clients - a Global multi-billion dollar Manufacturing Company and an Amlaw 200 (Top Environmental Practice Group) Law Firm are seeking a highly motivated, experienced Environmental Attorney to join their legal team in Washington D.C. The successful candidate will provide expert legal advice on environmental laws and regulations, represent clients in environmental litigation & advice and counsel. This role requires a strong understanding of federal, state, and local environmental regulations, such as CERCLA, RCRA, TSCA, CAA, CWA, FIFRA, & OSHA, excellent advocacy skills, and a passion for environmental justice.
Key Responsibilities :
- Research and interpret environmental laws and regulations.
- Represent clients in environmental litigation cases.
- Advise businesses and organizations on compliance with environmental regulations.
- Draft and review legal documents related to environmental policies and transactions.
- Participate in public hearings and community meetings.
- Collaborate with environmental scientists and other experts.
- Prepare and deliver arguments in court on behalf of clients.
