What are the responsibilities and job description for the Performance Improvement Intern position at Society of St?
INTERNSHIP DURATION: June 1 to July 31, 2025 (8 weeks) Part-time (16 hours a week)
The Performance Improvement Intern will assist the Compliance Coordinator with process improvement and policy/ procedure development needed for Council On Accreditation (COA) reaccreditation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist the Compliance Coordinator in preparing for reaccreditation through the Council on Accreditation, ensuring that SVDP is adhering to the highest standards and best practices in service delivery and administration. This will include
- Collaborating with SVDP staff in reviewing and revising documentation for submission
- Organizing documentation for submission
- Assist in process improvement by organizing and analyzing data provided through monthly Housing, Maintenance, and Case Management reports
- Prepare a presentation on what they learned in the 8 weeks to present to the leadership team at the conclusion of their internship
