Bethany School seeks an Intermediate (3-6) Language Arts/Social Studies Teacher beginning August 2025. Successful candidates are culturally competent, responsible, caring, and enthusiastic educators who possess content area and pedagogical knowledge in English Language Arts and Social Studies, as well as the ways these areas intersect with other content areas such as Math and Science. Successful candidates will also demonstrate understanding of the developmental characteristics of children in the intermediate grade levels (3-6) and will have had positive experiences working with students in these grades. Compensation includes salary and benefits commensurate with education and experience.
Qualified Intermediate (3-6) Language Arts/Social Studies Teacher candidates will possess or demonstrate the following:
- Bachelor's Degree in Education, the humanities, English, history or other related field required; Master's Degree preferred

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; communicate effectively and professionally in writing and verbally
- Proficiency in the use of technology; experience with Surface Pro devices, BenQ, Viewsonic, or other interactive boards, Google Classroom, Google Workspaces, Rediker SIS preferred
- Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development
