Schedule :
Full-time, flexible hours based on the family’s needs.
Requires availability on weekends and holidays (May–October when the family is in residence).
Compensation & Benefits :
35–$40 / hour, based on experience, with overtime pay after 40 hours.

Job Summary :
A private family is seeking a Residence & Housekeeping Manager to oversee the daily operations and pristine upkeep of their primary residence and associated buildings on a 600-acre estate in Millbrook, NY. The Residence Manager will report to the Director of Properties, collaborate with the Property Manager, and directly support the Owners to ensure seamless household operations.
Responsibilities :
Supervise, train, and coordinate housekeeping staff to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization.
Oversee household maintenance and repairs, coordinating with property staff and vendors as needed.
Ensure proper care, cleaning, and maintenance of fine arts, furnishings, and décor, in coordination with the Collections Manager.
Manage and track wine inventory, including deliveries and special requests.
Oversee security systems, AV / IT components, and smart home technologies.
Collaborate with the gardens and facilities teams for seasonal décor and outdoor furniture care.
Assist in budgeting, payroll approval, and invoice management for the residence.
Establish and implement service protocols for the Owners and guests, working closely with the Butler and staff.
Train household staff on emergency response and security protocols.
Ensure seamless guest accommodations and event coordination when the family is in residence.
Qualifications :
5 years of experience as a House Manager or Head Housekeeper in a formal estate.
Strong staff management and leadership skills.
Proficiency in Windows / Mac, MS Office, and Apple iOS for troubleshooting and system management.
Experience with smart home systems (Crestron, Lutron).
Detail-oriented with high standards for cleanliness, organization, and service.
Comfortable with pet care (family has three large dogs).
Discreet, professional, and able to work a flexible schedule to meet the family's needs.
