A prestigious contemporary art gallery in Santa Fe, NM is seeking a Sales Associate with a passion for art and a strong background in client relations and sales. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a high-end gallery or luxury sales environment and possess excellent communication skills to engage collectors, artists, and visitors.
Responsibilities :
Develop and maintain relationships with collectors, clients, and industry professionals to drive sales.Provide expert guidance on contemporary art pieces, artists, and exhibitions to potential buyers.Proactively generate leads, follow up with clients, and foster long-term relationships.Collaborate with the gallery team to curate and install exhibitions, ensuring an engaging visitor experience.Assist in planning and hosting gallery events, private viewings, and VIP experiences.Maintain accurate records of sales, client interactions, and inventory.Stay informed on contemporary art trends and market developments to enhance sales strategy.Requirements :
5 years of sales experience, preferably in a contemporary art gallery or high-end retail environment.Strong knowledge of contemporary art, artists, and market trends.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and educate clients.Proven ability to meet and exceed sales goals.Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.Availability to work weekends, evenings, and during special gallery events.Valid Driver’s LicenseValid US Work AuthorizationSSIN123
