We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Barback to join our dynamic team in an upscale, late-night restaurant environment. The Barback plays a crucial role in supporting bartenders by ensuring that the bar area is clean, stocked, and organized. Responsibilities
- Assist bartenders in preparing drinks and serving customers promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Stock bar supplies, including liquor, mixers, garnishes, and ice to ensure smooth operations.
- Help with cash handling by accurately processing transactions at the cash register.
- Buss tables and assist with clearing dishes to maintain an orderly environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure customer satisfaction and efficient service.
- Support kitchen staff during busy periods as needed to enhance overall service quality.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or nightclub setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong ability to clean and maintain a tidy work area consistently.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and experience using Aloha POS or similar systems is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Ability to work extended nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the business schedule.
