Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shop Hand to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting various shop operations, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Duties
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to fabricate components as required.
- Maintain inventory of tools & equipment.
- Operate forklifts to move materials and finished products within the shop.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines while working with machinery and tools.
- Participate in inventory management by tracking stock levels and reporting shortages.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Basic mechanical knowledge
- Familiarity with assembly line processes and the ability to assemble products accurately.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Forklift certification is a MUST
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift materials as needed.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
