Our physicians our passionate about care and play a key role in collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. The physician works closely with pharmacists on medication management including reduction and reconciliation as necessary, they complete all federally mandated visits including initial H&Ps, Medicare required visits, and acute and follow up visits as medically necessary in collaboration with the nurse practitioner (NP) or physician assistant (PA).
We are offering a fantastic part-time opportunity in Socorro, New Mexico for a medical professional to provide one day a week of rounding in a skilled nursing facility, along with offering medical directorship. This role is ideal for someone looking to expand their practice or seeking a flexible, part-time position. With a manageable schedule and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in patient care, it’s an excellent chance for the right candidate to join a supportive team while balancing other professional commitments.
As a TeamHealth physician you work with each patient's care team to implement an individualized plan of care that meets the patient's goals. We provide you with template progress notes that include HPI, current medications, general exam, and review of systems, assessments and treatments by diagnosis to allow you to manage your time and have work/life balance.
We ask that you be board certified/board eligible in family medicine (FM) or internal medicine (IM), have a passion to serve active older adults, and a desire to lead in a medical directorship role.
Expected compensation for this part-time 1 day/week opportunity is estimated at $75,000 to $80,000 annually with no cap on productivity income potential.
