Director of Finance and Accounting

Position Overview :

The Director of Finance and Accounting is a senior manager position within SocoSIX Strategies and plays a key role in ensuring the business stays on track financially and providing information to support decision making.  This position is responsible for developing financial strategies and managing the company’s financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and accounting team.  This position will report to the Chief Executive Officer and Vice President and liaise with sales and operations departments.  Leadership skills, effective communication skills, attention to detail, strong analytical ability, and knowledge of accounting standards and legal requirements required.

Requirements :

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Professional verbal and written communication
• Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and leadership skills
• Seven to ten years of relevant professional experience in accounting or financial management
• Prior experience working with QuickBooks (preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or economics from an accredited four-year college or university

General Responsibilities :

Salary : $90,000 - $100,000
