About the role
We’re looking for a Content Design Manager to lead a team of five content designers across our Driver, Customer Care, Pay, and Mapping products, setting and upholding the standard for what great looks like. You'll support the growth of your team, help prioritize and unblock work, and drive process improvements to increase excellence and efficiency. You'll work with Product, Design , and Marketing leadership to set high-level strategies and lead cross-functionally, as well as a group of Content Design leaders to advocate for and grow the discipline.

- Balance tough trade-offs and compromises to always deliver the highest value for customers while maintaining a sustainable pace and workload for your team.
- Identify areas of opportunity for the organization and individuals alike, and develop holistic solutions that set everyone up for success.
- Evolve the Content Design discipline within Lyft, which often looks like coaching junior members of the team, building systems for stronger cross-functional alignment, and developing internal team processes around craft and quality.

This role will be in-office on a hybrid schedule — Team Members will be expected to work in the office 3 days per week on Mondays, Thursdays and a team-specific third day. Additionally, hybrid roles have the flexibility to work from anywhere for up to 4 weeks per year. #Hybrid
The expected base pay range for this position in the San Francisco area is $161,000 - $200,000. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location. Range is not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits.
