FINANCIAL ANALYST opportunity in a business that encompasses the Real Estate, Hospitality and Healthcare industries. As a Financial Analyst, you will prepare and perform analysis on financial reports and schedules, prepare investor presentation materials and assist in the monthly, quarterly and year end accounting financial reporting process.

This role is based out of our corporate office in San Marcos, Texas.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Perform weekly cash flow and occupancy analysis.
· Prepare monthly external reports for all properties ensuring compliance with internal controls.
· Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
· Prepare selected month end journal entries and analyze accounts.
· Prepare and maintain monthly slide decks for investor meetings.
· Contribute to quarterly reforecasts and budget planning cycles.
· Develop and maintain impactful reports and new tools leveraging both internal and external systems to drive scalable analysis and insight from large data sets.
· Perform detailed financial analysis utilizing appropriate financial concepts and techniques.
· Gathers and distributes financial information related to historical, current, and future performance.
· Support upper management with decision making by identification of key market drivers for business generation and business profitability.
Required Experience and Traits:
· CFA candidate a plus
· VBA, SQL, database experience
· BS in Accounting or Finance
· Experience with Domo, Power BI or other data visualization tools a plus
· Highly Analytical
· Advanced level skills working with Excel spreadsheets
· Strong organizational skills and a proven ability to meet deadlines
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to:
· Must be able to remain in a stationary position 80% of the time
· The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
· Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
· The person in this position frequently communicates with internal and external individuals. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
· Must be able to detect and identify trends from large data sources that sometimes contain thousands of formulas and hundreds of thousands of rows and columns.
The annual salary range for this analyst position is $65,000-$75,000 commensurate with experience.
