Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
Safety
- Communicate, promote, and enforce Company Health, Safety and Environmental Policies and ensure adherence by staff.
- Administration of all required safety training.
- Incident/near miss/proactive event reporting.
- Participate in Health & Safety Committee meetings.
- Adhere to daily production schedule, ensuring line efficiency is achieved and required output is met.
- Monitoring and reporting of Factory KPI’s.
- SOP development & Implementation.
- Quick win process improvement owner.
- Daily review of Receipts, cylinder scanning, production work orders, movements and consumptions are accurately reconciled against production logs and entered in BOM file for all work cells in the Factory.
- Coordination & Facilitation of Factory inventory counts.
- Participation in inventory reconciliations, variance investigations and identifying root cause and implementing corrective action.
- Review and completion of Month end close check list with Finance.
- Responsible for the overall Supervision of Factory employees.
- Coordinate with Temp agency as needed for all temporary staffing needs.
- Maintain employee /attendance list and track, monitor and execute employee performance (Coach for success and coach for improvement).
- Work closely with payroll and HR by reviewing and approving employee hours and PTO in the payroll system.
- Responsible for the PMP Process for Leads, including goal setting, mid-year and year-end performance reviews.
- Work with management and HR to administer recognition, development and disciplinary actions related to staff.
- Responsible for administration of Training & Development within the factory for all local market requirements as well as acting as the Training Rep. collaborating with Global on all things related to L&D that are required.
- Ensure all component & cylinder inventory (gaylords, cylinder racks, pallets, etc.) are clearly & accurately identified with sku#, status and quantity.
- Meets or exceeds department targets set by the Company.
- Works with cross functional departments in a timely manner in person or via email.
- Maintain equipment, tooling, and supplies in good functional order.
- Daily reporting and explanation of all Factory KPI’s.
- Analyze, resolve, and assist with work problems within your team.
- Ensure all cleaning activities are completed daily and all cells are maintained in a clean and orderly manner.
- Other duties as assigned.
Experience and Expertise Requirements:
- High School Graduate and equivalent and/or 3 to 5 years related experience.
- Radio Frequency Scanner experience.
- Warehouse Management system experience.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic, and challenging environment.
- Must have a strong work ethic and leadership mindset.
- Must be knowledgeable in administrative/operational procedures such as work schedules, set-ups, safety, and housekeeping requirements.
- Should have strong written, verbal, people skills, and other technical skills to properly direct, assist, and train personnel.
- Intermediate experience in Microsoft Office required specifically Power point and Excel.
- Previous experience with NetSuite is a plus.
- Ability to lift 30-50 lbs.
