Job Summary: My client is seeking a motivated and results-driven Mortgage Loan Originator to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating leads, developing relationships with potential clients, and guiding them through the mortgage application process. They will work closely with mortgage brokers to ensure a seamless and positive experience for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation: Proactively generate leads through various channels, including networking, referrals, and marketing initiatives.
- Client Consultation: Conduct initial consultations with prospective clients to understand their financial needs and goals.
- Loan Applications: Assist clients in completing mortgage loan applications and gather necessary documentation for processing.
- Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with the latest mortgage products, interest rates, and market trends to provide informed advice to clients.
- Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, real estate agents, and other industry professionals.
- Compliance: Ensure all loan applications comply with federal and state regulations and company policies.
- Follow-Up: Maintain regular communication with clients throughout the loan process to ensure a smooth and efficient experience.
- Sales Targets: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and performance metrics.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Mortgage Loan Originator or similar role in the mortgage industry.
- Strong understanding of mortgage loan products, guidelines, and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to generate leads and build a network of contacts.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Proficient in mortgage software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Active NMLS license required.
