Job Description: As an Aerospace Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and compliance of aerospace components / lights. Your attention to detail and commitment to precision will contribute to the overall success of our projects.
Responsibilities:
Perform detailed inspections of aerospace components and assemblies to verify compliance with engineering specifications and industry standards.
Utilize precision measurement tools and equipment to assess dimensional accuracy and tolerances.
Conduct visual inspections to identify surface defects, anomalies, and irregularities.
Inspect materials, processes, and documentation to ensure adherence to quality standards.
Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to address and resolve quality issues.
Create detailed inspection reports, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions.
Participate in first article inspections and process audits.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of inspection processes and procedures.
Perform analysis and testing using an ATP (Acceptance Test Procedure)
Ability to troubleshoot and identify root cause of any failures.
Perform necessary calibration of testing equipment.
Qualifications - preferred but not required:
Experience as a Mfg. Inspector or Quality Control Inspector in the aerospace industry with 2 years’ experience.
Experience in an electronics and test environment with 1 years of experience.
Proficient in the use of precision measuring tools and inspection equipment.
Familiarity with AS9100 quality management system.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Certification(s) in quality inspection or related fields is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
