Sodexo's Healthcare Technology Management is seeking a Biomedical Sterilizer Service Technician to work with highly recognized medical facilities. This is a Sterilizer Field Service position servicing locations across the Sharp HealthCare System, with potential to expand to more locations. You will utilize your current skills in the HTM field to support Sodexo's existing operations. This is the perfect role for an accomplished BMET looking to specialize in sterilization.

This position will support / drive to multiple locations, must have valid driver's license.

A valid driver’s license and acceptable driver’s license record check is required.

Position Summary :

Under supervision of the Client Executive 2, you'll inspect, repair, maintain, calibrate, and ensure all related sterilization equipment is maintained in a quality and timely manner. The ideal candidate will have outstanding customer service and communications skills as well as strong technical skills and commitment to deliver excellent repair service in an expedient manner. Participates in and conducts on-the-job training programs regarding technical, administrative, and customer service requirements.

The ideal Biomedical Equipment Specialist - Sterilizer professionals should have :

• Experience effectively repairing, maintaining and calibrating clinical devices specific to hospital decontamination, Steris sterilizers, and equipment sterilization.
• Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.
• The ability to make decisions regarding troubleshooting and repairing medical devices.
• Excellent communication, customer service and time management skills.
• Proactive thinking skills to troubleshoot.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience) in electronic, biomedical engineering or a discipline geared toward managing, maintaining and repairing clinical equipment within a healthcare environment.

Basic Functional Experience - 7 years of experience in electronic, mechanical or electro-mechanical repair in a healthcare technology setting.
