Security Guard Subcontractor Position

Are you a dedicated and experienced security professional looking for an opportunity to grow with a reputable firm? We are currently hiring Armed Security Guards in the Indianapolis area to join our team as subcontractors, with the potential to transition into part-time or full-time employment based on performance and availability.

Position Summary

This role is for an overnight armed post, Thursday through Sunday from 11:00 PM to 5:00 AM. The right candidate will be responsible, observant, and professional, with the proper equipment and mindset to work independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a strong, armed presence to deter criminal activity
• Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas
• Monitor and report suspicious activity, hazards, and incidents
• Complete detailed and timely reports
• Respond to alarms, emergencies, or disturbances
• Communicate effectively with management and emergency responders
• Provide professional customer service to clients and visitors

Minimum Requirements

• Valid Indiana CCW / Handgun License (required)
• At least 2 years of armed security experience (required)
• Must own a duty firearm and body armor (required)
• Reliable transportation to and from post (required)
• Ability to work overnight shifts Thursday to Sunday
• Clean background and ability to pass a drug test
• Excellent communication and observational skills
• Must reside within reasonable commuting distance to Indianapolis, IN 46236

Preferred Qualifications

• Open availability for nights, weekends, and holidays
• Prior military, police, or armed experience
• Comfortable working in dynamic environments
