School Psychologist Gr. 4-8 (Probationary)

To diagnose student problems, implement psychological services, and serve on related committees necessary to support
at-risk students in overcoming barriers, so that the students are successful in the school academic environment.

• New York State certification as a School Psychologist required.

• The ability to work independently, facilitate group dynamics, exercise good judgment and show initiative.

• The ability to make a commitment to academic excellence.

• Have an ability to communicate effectively with staff and students.
