Position Brief
· Business Associate /Office Department
· FT Position: up to 40hrs per week / On-site M-F / Greensboro, NC.
· Salary range: Up to $50,000 per year. Negotiable based on experience.
Qualifications
- Minium MBA degree in Finance, Accounting, Investment, Business development or a related field.
- Fluency with basic financial concepts is required.
- Proven analytical and financial modeling skills
- Proven proficiency in spreadsheets, databases and financial software applications.
- 0-2 years of relevant experience in business development, business management, and corporate marketing preferred.
- Ability to work with large datasets
- Strong communication capability, especially with excellent writing skills.
- Strategic thinking and organizational skills
- Ability to synthesize information and data from numerous sources into coherent presentations and reports.
- Familiarity with business contract structures.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to collaborate with others.
- Ability to identify, prospect, and build business relationships with current and potential customers.
- Competency in Analytical Problem Solving, Customer/Partner Relationships, and Technology Expertise (Preferred).
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, collaborative working environment.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist in analyzing historical and current financial data to understand the company’s financial status
- Assist in developing predictive financial models to support organizational decision making
- Assist in establishing benchmarks for financial processes
- Analyze market and regulatory trends to aid decision makers in identifying the most value-adding revenue strategy for the company’s projects.
- Create written reports that enable management teams to make strategic decisions to meet business goals
- Assist in developing forecasting tools to automate financial data analysis
- Develop documentation to support the Business team's proposals and presentations
- Work with the R&D, Engineering, and finance teams to produce documents to support proposals and presentations.
- Provide accurate analyses to assist with agreements and other commercial transactions.
- Develop appropriate data, market intelligence, and analysis to advise the business development team.
- Create presentations for potential customers.
· Perform other related duties as assigned.
