Quality Manager

Soelect Inc. is a fast-growing, multi-patented clean technology startup located in Greensboro, NC. Soelect has developed an advanced lithium metal composite anode that, when combined with a solid-state or liquid electrolyte, significantly increases energy density, power and safety while also lowering manufacturing costs through our patented material design and proprietary processes.

Position Brief

· Quality Manager / Quality Department

· FT Position: 40hrs per week / On-site M-F / Greensboro, NC.

· Salary range: Up to $80,000 per year. Negotiable based on experience.

Qualification

• Minium BS degree in chemical engineering, safety engineering, materials science, chemistry, industrial engineering, environmental health and safety, or a related field
• Minimum 7 years of related industry experience in chemical analysis, characterization, or quality labs
• Strong understanding of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949, Six Sigma, OSHA, and HACCP is required
• Knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001, ISO 17025 is plus

· Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Experience developing and improving quality management systems

· Experience performing safety analyses including Hazard Analysis, Fault Tree Analysis, and Human Error Assessments

Roles and Responsibilities

· Lead day to day monitoring and optimization of production quality, rates, and yields.

· Lead and manage a liaison member between production and quality teams, ensuring clear communication of scheduling and requirements for efficient production and timely sample/product release.

· Lead corrective and preventive actions, and effectiveness verification activities for product quality issues and customer complaints.

· Manage quality reporting and records related to incoming and in-process quality trends, return analysis, complaint investigation, corrective action activity, are clearly documented and maintained.

· Managing compliance with ISO 9001 , IATF 16949 and other regulations implementation.

· Lead in developing and implementing quality standards, testing protocols, and evaluation processes; update and revise procedures as needed.

· Lead conducting inspections and quality control checks to ensure consistency and compliance.

· Manage assessing test results and approve recommended changes for process improvements.

· Perform other related duties as assigned.
