You will work in a highly collaborative environment, engaging closely with cross-functional Product, Design, and Engineering teams. You’ll be involved in the entire product lifecycle - from ideation through deployment, with continuous improvement at every stage.In this role, you will lead engineering for the platforms and user experience that underpin our SoFi Marketing tech stack for Marketing Attributions, Ad Platforms and the SoFi.com web platform. In this role, you will collaborate with teams across the entire company as your team drives gains in marketing efficiency and spend while attracting new members. You will drive unparalleled member growth by showcasing benefits, rewards and personalized information to those who express interest in banking with SoFi.As the engineering manager for the area, you will own full-stack technical planning, roadmap, and delivery for your teams, including team building and performance management. You will partner with product, design, and business leads in crafting the product and technical strategy to drive member growth and brand awareness. This area is one of the important growth engines behind SoFi, so there are meaningful opportunities to have a lasting impact in shaping our marketing technical strategy and architecture.Key ResponsibilitiesLead one or multiple development teams through the full development life cycleOwn the technical output and delivery for SoFi Ads and Web PlatformMaintain a high-performing team - hold a high bar for hiring and performance, and effectively coach team members through continued growth.Shape and support the team culture with an emphasis on continual improvement, learning, and funEstablish and leverage strong relationships across the department and cross-functional leadership team.Generate ideas for new initiativesTake initiative and produce timely results in a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environmentFacilitate the definition of project scope, deliverables, and goals.RequirementsA BS Degree or equivalent from a fully accredited college or university is preferred.As a bonus, in a technical field5 years of experience designing, building, and operating scalable, mission-critical systems4 years of experience managing teamsExperience hiring, training, motivating, monitoring, and coaching team membersWillingness to roll up your sleeves, collaborate with others, and get stuff doneStrong sense of responsibility; driving initiatives from inception to completionAbility to hold others accountableExperience with Agile SDLC methodologiesA desire to learnNice to havesDirect or related experience in Marketing tools and technologies for CDP and Web (for e.g. mparticle, Amplitude, Wordpress)Experience working with or leading full stack teams (backend, web, mobile)Exposure to highly regulated environmentsExperience building systems in the Fintech spaceCompensation and BenefitsThe base pay range for this role is listed below.
